I requested a book to be sent to my son Matt
who is in Winslow AZ State Prison. I have to
tell you two things...Matt called Sunday and
said, "Mom, the strangest thing has happened.
Thursday night I was writing in my journal about
my life. I wrote most of the kinds of things
I had told you about...how I wanted to find
out about myself at a deeper level. Friday I
get this book out of no where, ‘The Grand
Experiment’. Did you send it? I'm already
180 pages into the book. Mom, I'm going to keep
this book. It's almost as if this woman has
written a line that follows everything I've
ever thought.” He ended by saying that
he would keep me up on his progress. I just
squalled—couldn't help it. Thank you for
bringing forth what's within you and sharing
it with all of us. Janice,

This book has been a profound resource for me
in my journey of self discovery. It has served
as both a reference & a tool when thoughts
or questions arise. I have read it from front
to back, but now it sits on my nightstand for
easy access ~ it is dog-eared, underscored,
& filled with my personal notes. It is interesting
that when I pick up the book to read, I discover
new perspective’s as my own awareness
shifts & I realize the words have always
been there awaiting my further discovery or
dive deeper into self. Pat, Washington

Fear Number Four. I cannot tell you how many times I have uttered those words in my mind after a coaching session with one of my clients. And then I know what will happen next. It’s time for The Grand Experiment. It appears that no matter how many goals have been accomplished, how many people have been served, or how large the contribution has been to humanity thus far....my clients find themselves questioning their worth. While fear number four comes up the most in my coaching clientele, each and every fear has shown up in some way or another. How do I use the book? 1) As homework, it serves to remind my clients of their potential when they are no longer in front of me. It reinforces that they are “of possibility,” that they are here for a purpose. Fear no longer need drive them. They have a choice to face those fears, understand the stuff behind them and create better pathways. For clients who desire a deep dive to change beliefs and not just behaviors, this is a powerful tool. 2) The book also offers thought-provoking inquiries which I have integrated into my coaching practice. It has inspired me to go beyond symptoms to root cause. 3) The fears offer a context for each client to understand universal truths so I often use the book in coaching sessions to read a powerful passage or exemplify that there is a better way. Coaches need tools to help illuminate other ways of being. The Grand Experiment is one of my favorites. Sherri, VPI Strategies, San Diego
The Grand Experiment is an excellent tool for
Life and Spiritual Coaches to use with their
clients. Often clients experience breakthroughs
in the office but need a home program to keep
them moving and motivated between appointments.
The Grand Experiment is part coach and teacher,
part friend and companion and, on all it's pages,
a deliberate catalyst for change and growth.
I highly recommend The Grand Experiment to any
Life Coach who would like to give their clients
a life-long prescription for overcoming fear.

"The Grand Experiment" is a thoughtful and provocative
opportunity for readers to explore and challenge
what has been taken to be 'givens' in our life.
The authors disclose their own life experiences
to highlight myths generally accepted as truths.
Offering real tools, this book provides a method
for one's own expedition of Truth finding and
exploring the possibilities of Life. This is
a book worth reading and you will likely read
again and again.
